Pickens County government offices will open on a two-hour delay today, Jan. 17, 2018. Therefore, Clemson University’s main campus will open at 10 a.m. today. Classes will begin at 10:10 a.m.
Clemson University faculty, staff and students in university facilities and classes outside of the main campus should follow these steps:
- Visit the county government offices website, which lists county-by-county status.
- Review the county government office’s schedule where your Clemson workplace or class is located.
- Follow the schedule of that county’s government office.

Updates will be issued via the CU Alerts page, Inside Clemson and the CU Safety page as information becomes available and decisions are made.
Employees should not enter leave requests for Jan. 17 until after the weather event and further guidance is provided by the Office of Human Resources.
