Pickens County offices are on a two-hour opening delay tomorrow. Therefore, Clemson University’s main campus will open at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 8.
University officials are monitoring weather conditions and will make decisions as conditions warrant.
Clemson University employees with off-campus worksites should check if your work location is closed or on delay through these steps:
- Visit the county government offices website, which lists county-by-county status.
- Review the county government office’s schedule where your Clemson workplace is located.
- Follow the schedule of that county’s government office.

Updates will be issued via the CU Alerts page, Inside Clemson and the CU Safety page as information becomes available and decisions are made.
Employees should not enter leave requests for Jan. 8 until after the weather event and further guidance is provided by the Office of Human Resources.
