Pickens County government offices will open on a two-hour delay, Monday, Dec. 10. Therefore, Clemson University’s main campus will open at 10 a.m. Students, faculty and staff are urged to use caution while traveling to and from campus. Clemson officials report clear road conditions on campus this evening.
Due to the delay in university opening, the Final Exam Schedule for Monday has been changed. Common exam times will also operate on the shifted schedule. New exam times are as listed below:

PARKING & TRANSPORTATION
Tiger Transit Overnight Service and the R-06 Routes will run this evening from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. All main campus routes will begin at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow, as will the Bridge Route to Tri-County Technical College and CATbus services.
The Research Park route will begin at 10 a.m.
Tiger Commute and School of Nursing will not run as the Greenville County offices are closed.

HOUSING & DINING
Several dining options remain open this evening, with a full list available @ClemsonDining. Core Campus will open at 8 a.m. tomorrow, with Starbucks in the Library opening as early as possible. Fike Recreation Center and Douthit Hills Fitness Center are closing at 9 p.m. this evening.
GREENVILLE COUNTY
Greenville County offices are closed tomorrow, and all Clemson locations in Greenville County will also be closed.
ANDERSON COUNTY
Anderson County offices will operate on a two-hour delay tomorrow morning, and Clemson locations in Anderson County will also be on a two-hour delay.
OCONEE COUNTY
Oconee County offices will open at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow morning, and Clemson locations will as well.
ALL OTHER SOUTH CAROLINA COUNTIES

FACULTY AND STAFF
Faculty and staff should use caution and follow posted warnings while traveling to campus. Employees should not enter leave requests for Monday until after the weather event and further guidance is provided by the Office of Human Resources. Employees are also encouraged to download and review Clemson University’s emergency closing policy and procedures.
The State of South Carolina Emergency Management Division provides the following information for state employees:
Four sources of information regarding closings and delayed openings of county/state offices will be available:
- Check South Carolina Educational Television and Radio. SCETV will broadcast a “crawl” showing the information and will announce it on SCETV radio. SCETV and SCETV radio will broadcast the information state-wide.
- The information regarding closings and delayed openings will be posted to the SCEMD web site as quickly as it is received. Visit scemd.org/closings for updates.
- The South Carolina Emergency Manager Mobile App. The S.C. Emergency Manager app is your personal emergency management tool that displays a complete list of all state and county government closings.
- Check local commercial news media outlets. They typically broadcast, post on their web sites, and/or disseminate through social media any deviations from normal operations for county offices. That information applies to state agencies located in those counties.
Please do not call county emergency management offices for the information. We ask that state employees refrain from requesting this information from county emergency managers because they are typically involved in response activities during stormy weather and should not be interrupted.
