Update (3:42 p.m.): Full water service for main campus, including drinking water and chilled water for cooling systems, has been restored. The boil water advisory is lifted for all areas of main campus except the Barnes Center.
Full repairs are ongoing and should be completed later today.
A water main break is currently affecting the availability of drinking water and chilled water used for main campus cooling systems. Power service remains unaffected, but our main campus community may notice changes in building cooling efficiency.
As a safety precaution, a boil water advisory is in effect for all main campus buildings until further notice. Clemson University officials are actively working with local utilities to resolve the issue and will provide updates as they become available.
