Clemson University officials continue to monitor weather conditions throughout the day and overnight and urge students, faculty and staff to prepare for the possibility of hazardous driving conditions. Road conditions in the area could begin to change later this afternoon and into the evening as temperatures drop and precipitation begins to freeze on bridges and roadways. Temperatures are expected to be below freezing Friday morning, and there is a possibility of a delay to classes and operations. Any change to the schedule could be communicated Friday morning.
The university will provide updates on any impacted operations or class schedules due to weather conditions through CU SAFE ALERT texts, email and social media through @OurClemson, @ClemsonSafety and alerts.clemson.edu.
Employees in other Clemson University offices should monitor the Status of County Government Offices website for information about other county office closings or delays.
