Someone stole debit/credit cards from offices in campus academic buildings Wednesday, April 10, according to Clemson University police.
Items were taken from an unlocked office on the first floor of Rhodes Hall between 10 and 11:30 a.m.. Another theft occurred in an unlocked office on the first floor of Riggs Hall between 10:45 a.m. and 1 p.m. Another office in Riggs, on the third floor, was burglarized between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Police ask that anyone who may have information about these thefts or suspicious activity contact them at 864-656-2222. In the event of an emergency, please dial 911.
Police also provided these safety tips:
Secure your residence, office and vehicle by locking all doors and windows.
- Never leave your property unattended in a public space.
- Secure all valuables when possible.
- Do not let strangers into buildings that require secure access.
- Report any suspicious activity or persons to the police immediately.
