CUPD: Assault reported at off-campus fraternity house

Clemson University police are advising off-campus residents to be alert following a reported assault Tuesday at the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity house on Six Mile Highway in Central.

An unknown male carrying a rifle approached several students who were on the back porch at 1:30 a.m. There was an altercation and one of the students was cut on the hand.

The suspect is described as a white male with blond hair dressed in camouflage clothing. The bottom half of his face was covered.
